A simple lunch of bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar can be very tasty, especially with a light white wine or a rose wine. If you bring along flasks of tea or coffee, then do keep the milk in a separate container so as not to taint the flask; a disposable container for milk is ideal. Powdered milk is a great picnic addition as you can make just what you need for the day.
