12 Weeks to a Better Life

We all have habits, some good and some bad, yet habits are merely programs that we regularly run until they became part of daily routine. Habits are more associated with negative acts than positive ones; we are often told to, 'give up the bad habit of…'. However, the habit-forming process can radically improve our wellbeing and our lives in just twelve weeks.

Twelve weeks is all it takes for a habit to become fixed within our consciousness and then to run on automatic pilot. Imagine then, that in just 12 weeks from now you could have a whole new, positive habit that will be with you for life! If you were told that in just twelve weeks you were going to be given a million dollars then the time would not be so long! So now, take twelve weeks to change your life forever!

To give you some ideas, here are areas around which one can form positive, new habits. You can start with finances and spend twelve weeks on a budget. After the period is over the budget will seem perfectly normal and you will then be on the road to financial stability. You may wish to increase your health and so twelve weeks of exercise will then become a habit and you will miss exercising if you stop!

You may wish to become more spiritually aware and decide to take up meditation, yoga or religious practice. Again, in just twelve weeks you will have the habit of doing these practices and they thus become second nature. You may have an anger problem, if so then when the anger becomes to form deliberately be happy and positive. In twelve weeks when the situation arises then you will start to felt this way automatically. Can you imagine the freedom you will experience when you have conquered anger and annoyance?

The beauty is that all areas of your life can benefit from forming new positive habits. This shows the power of the human mind and shows how easy it is to program the mind with destructive thought patterns. No longer do we need to live in the old patterns, we can now live in a new positive waveform.

This may sound too simplistic; it is not too simplistic. All of our reactions and thought processes are simple habits formed through repetition and time. If we can turn the negative habits around and forge new, wholesome and positive habits, then we can re-program our very minds to act and react in a whole new way. What better way to spend the next twelve weeks!
